My Service Project this year will be to honor and help out our Veterans, especially our Disabled Veterans.  Each Assembly should host a dinner and invite the Veterans in your lodges or in your area.  Send out invitations to your sponsoring bodies and set up the banks that I give you at Grand in your assembly or lodge to collect donations all year long.  The money will go to the Wounded Warrior Project, which helps active duty military seriously injured in combat zones. These services include, but are not limited to, providing prosthetic devices and rehabilitation services.  The Assembly who collects the most money will get a movie with me.

Girls – this is how you should get ready for your dinner.  Plan to meet with your advisory board to decide on a menu first.  Then after one of your meetings, get together and decide on the date, time and place, who will send out invitations and who will do the cooking.  Be sure to have a list of who will be bringing what and a job for each girl.

Mrs. Julia Wachtel Watson, PGWA, has agreed to be our Chairman for this project and I know that she would be glad to give any help or suggestions.  Don’t forget to include your Masons and Eastern Star members, as well as myself and Mrs. Debbi in the invitations.
