Support Our Troops
This year I want to show our support for our

Grand Worthy Advisor’s
Scholarship Drive
Shooting Stars
This year, the scholarship drive will consist of some of our
Past Shooting Stars (Past Grand Worthy Advisors). These lovely
ladies will be collecting money to help our future shinning
stars reach their goals with a college scholarship. Our goal is
to reach $2,000 to cover our annual scholarships. We will also
be selling my GWA pin to add to the Scholarship Drive.
The chairman for this project is Kim Nock. Our
Shooting Stars are:
Kristen Smart, PGWA
Angela Cocran, PGWA

Grand
Charity Project
2010-2011
This year, our
Grand Charity Project will consist of collecting needed items
for the Battered Women’s Shelter in your area. We know that
clothes of every size are always needed, but Grand Charity will
work with each assembly to find out their location and what
other items they might need. We will arrange a date in the
early part of 2011 to bring the items to them.
At Rainbow University, we will have Youth Protection
classes on domestic violence and abuse and why these shelters
are so important for our communities.
So clean out your closets for clothes, good shoes,
toiletry items for women and children and we’ll donate them to a
shelter in your town or area. Also, the children might like to
have new books, school supplies or toys that can be easily
carried around. Cell phones that can be recycled can also be
donated.
The Grand Charity will work with each assembly to
set up a day and time to go deliver the items to the shelter in
your area.

Grand Worthy Advisor’s
Petition Drive
Leonard’s Ladies
Leonard wants to have lots of friends to travel the Rainbow with
and he needs your help. I know if you are excited about
Rainbow, your friends will get excited, too and want to join.
Sharing our Faith Journey with our friends will enable our
Rainbow to glow with a “stellar” brightness!
We
have some awesome gifts for the girls who bring in petitions.
These will be presented at the Schools of Instruction. So bring
in your friends and plan on attending all our Heavenly Schools.
At
Grand we will have an ice cream party in my suite Friday night
following the Talent Show for all new members and the friend who
brought them in. I hope we can fill the suite to overflowing.
